She is also a graduate of UW-Madison with a BS in Biochemistry and a Masters in Physical Therapy.
Caitlin Johnston – Dean
Caitlin Johnston is a Milton native and a mother to Aiden. She has been working with children since the age of 14. Her experiences in babysitting, as a nanny, and as a day care provider kindled her love for children and brought her to study education. She has had extensive training in education including the Applied Scholastics educational methods. Her own child’s future motivates her to create the best educational opportunity available. Her passion and love for children along with her experiences in dance and karate and her international travels bring much to the offerings of Applied Scholastics Academy of Janesville.
“I have always been fascinated with how intelligent and honest children are, and I am very passionate about providing a promising future for them. After I met Christine and heard about this school and the philosophy, my eyes had been opened to an entirely new way of learning and studying. As a mother I really saw the value in this kind of education. I am extremely excited to be a part of such a great school, and I can’t wait to show the community what is available for their family and friends!”
